1.Where did you meet your husband? I meet my husband at one of my club volleyball tournaments my senior year. I played on a team with his sister Brooke. He thought I was hott in my spandex!! Oh YEah!!
2. How long did you date before you got married? 7 months
3. How long have you been married? Just hit the 6 year mark.
4. What does he do that surprises you? he often calls me to meet him for lunch. Sometimes that's the only alone time we get.
5. What is your favorite feature of his? Brady has the cutest butt!
6. What is his best quality? Brady has the kindest heart. He always want to make everyone happy.
7. Does he have a nickname for you? Mandy Lou or Lou Mama
8. What is his favorite food? Chinese and Sea Food
9. What is his favorite sport? The question for Brady should be, what sport doesn't he like? Brady loves any competition!!!
10. When and where did you first kiss? after a week of dating, on my front porch.
11. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple? We love to go to pretty much any sporting event together.
12. Do you have any children? Yes, Little Brady, he is 3 1/2

Christmas = CRAZY times!!

So I have totally been slacking on the blogg'n....Sorry! I have posted three new posts to try and catch up!! Along with the post we have been able to go watch my big brother Dustin coach his Clearfield wrestling team, and Brady's little sister play basketball. Last Saturday went on a hay ride through the Layton lights and Santa sat right next to little Brady! He was totally freaking out the whole ride, he kept saying "I can't believe Santa is sitting next to me!!" Of course I forgot me camera!! We also went to the Christmas concert at the Conference Center with Heidi & Michael. I forgot my camera again, so I am waiting for Heidi to post them so I can copy them!!

Festival of Trees

I had a clogging performance at the Festival of Trees in Salt Lake City. We walked around and played in the kids games after. It was so fun to see all the beautiful trees. Brady even got to sit on Santa's lap!

As many of you know Veva and I grew up across the street from each other. We are like sisters, we used to fight like sisters too!! I have had the pleasure of going to high school, dancing, and playing sports with Veva. We went on dates, stayed up late, and were there for each other. I love that every time we get together it feels like we haven't skipped a beat. I am so blessed to have many friends in my life, but I would just like to acknowledge my FIRST best friend! I know Veva is considered a best friend to many, but just know that I knew her first!! ha ha... Thanks Veva for all the good times we have shared. I know our friendship will never end!! No matter where we go, we will always be friends! I love ya...

BYU vs UTAH
So for the BYU UTAH game Brady's Dad Matt came down from Oregon to go the game. It was so fun to have him here. Even though it was a sad day in the Nelson home we still managed to enjoy our selves. After the game we took little Brady to Chucky Cheese!! Big Brady drowned his sorrows on the ski ball and basketball games! We just wanted to say thanks to Matt for driving down to see us!!!

Brady went fishing with my Dad last Wednesday. He had such an awesome time, and well you could say they caught some big ones!! Yes, Brady caught the biggest one. Thanks Dad!!

6 Years and still going strong...

Brady and I have been married for six years today! Wow how much time does fly. I just want to tell my hubby how much I love him. Brady you are the rock in my life. I love you for the man that you are. I love the father that you are to our son, he loves you so much! I love the way you support and take care of our family. I love the way you are such a sport fanatic!! With out you I don't know were I would be. I never regret for one second the decision that we made to be together forever. I am so blessed to have you in my life and to be able to spend forever with you!!

Jazz Game

Go Jazz! OK so we went to the Jazz game with my sister Jessica and her hubby. We got upper bowl tickets and at about half time we decided that we would go to the lower bowl and sit in some seats that were still open. So we just walked right down to the 6th row! We thought that we were really sneaky!! Well we soon realized that we stuck out like thorns. Everyone man around us had a watch that was worth more than a wedding ring and the women had diamonds as big as golf balls!! So anyway Brady made friends with the rich people and we found out that we were in Mark Eaton's seats!! We had a good laugh and enjoyed the rest of the game.

REGION CHAMPS!!

The Lady Lancers clinched the region title on Thursday after defeating Fremont!! Before the win against Fremont the Lancers battled with Northridge in a 5 gamer! Layton was down 7-12 in the 5th game and came back to win!!! It's all about the HEART!! We go to state this weekend at UVU. Good job girls, you have worked so hard!!!!

Volleyball, Volleyball, and more Volleyball!!!!

Well lately we have been so busy with volleyball we can't even breath!! I have been battling a cold for 2 weeks now, and i can't get better because I am around 20 girls everyday!! We have volleyball practice or games everyday of the week. I say WE because it is a family affair. My hubby is so supportive of this love I have for this game. He takes little Brady as often as he can to make sure that I can be totally committed! My son is what you could say a gym rat. He loves to go to games and loves the girls. Coaching is something that is in my blood. My Dad has instilled in me the passion for sports. Through my Dad's coaching I have seen him make a difference in so many young kids lives. Still to this day if I run into a past wrestler they always want to know how my Dad is, or they just talk about what an awesome guy he is!! My goal is to do just that through coaching. Not just to teach them about the game I love, but to teach them about life. Thanks Dad for the example!! Well and update on the team. We are 6 and 1 in region. They are playing really well. I will keep you updated!!! GO LANCERS!!

Brady's Birthday continued...

Saturday night we got together with my family for Brady & my Mom, they have the same birthday! Then on Sunday we got together with Brady's family for dinner. With out Brady knowing I had been in touch with one of his mission companions and asked him to come for dinner. It was so fun to see Brady's reaction!! They have just recently been in contact with each other after 8 years!! We are so excited to finally see them. Nate and his wife Sharley (spelling) and their two beautiful daughters came to share this fun day with us! Thanks so much for making the effort to come!!! Can't wait to see you again!!
